Qatar Charity to Set Up Hospital in Benghazi Named After Al Jaber
Doha, March 20 (QNA) - Qatar Charity has announced it will establish a hospital named after the martyr Ali Hassan Al Jaber in Benghazi, Libya.
The hospital will cost QR 30 million. Of it the Charity will contribute QR 5 million, while the remaining will be funded through donations, the Arabic daily Al Watan reported.
The Charity adopted this project in recognition of the achievements made by Al Jaber, as well as his efforts in the service of humanitarian work.
Ali Hassan Al Jaber was working as a cameraman for the TV channel Al Jazeera. He was martyred while covering the 2011 Libyan uprising. (QNA)
