Minister of State Meets US Senior Advisor on Darfur
Doha, March 20 (QNA) - HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met here on Sunday morning HE US Senior Advisor on Darfur Ambassador Dane Smith, currently visiting the country.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the Darfur peace process in Doha and the stages that have been reached on the final document of the Darfur Peace as well as mediation plans and its efforts to assist the parties to create favorable conditions for a political agreement and overcome the contentious issues of the negotiations to reach its desired goal.
The meeting was attended by HE US Ambassador to Qatar Joseph LeBaron and a number of the Foreign Ministry officials . (QNA)
