Mutlag, German ambassador discuss mutual cooperation
Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Prime minister, Salih Al Mutlag, discussed with the German ambassador in Iraq, Christian Berger, mutual interest issues and means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in service of both countries, a statement issued by Mutlag’s office said.
Mutlag stressed “the necessity of opening new horizons for cooperation with Germany and possibilities of benefiting from its experiments in economy, scientific, and services domains.”
He reiterated that Iraq is looking forward to holding better relations with world countries in accordance with its riches and capabilities.
For his part, the German ambassador expressed his government’s readiness to provide support to Iraq and to contribute in reconstruction and investment projects in service of both countries’ interests.
