Annual Camel Race for HH the Emir's Sword Begins Tomorrow

Doha, March 26 (QNA) - The Annual Purebred Arabian Camel Races for the sword of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani is due to begin tomorrow and continues until 26 April with participation from GCC member states.
The grand prize awarded to the winner of this event is two swords of gold and silver in addition to QR1 million.
The Annual Purebred Arabian Camel Races are a traditional attraction for camel racing fans in Qatar. Large numbers of spectators and dignitaries from Qatar, the GCC region, and the Arab World are expected to attend the final day of the camel racing festival.
