Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Meets EU Special Representative for Sudan

Doha, March 27 (QNA) - HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met this evening with Special Representative of the European Union for Sudan Rosalind Marsden, who is currently visiting Qatar.
The meeting discussed the Darfur peace process in Doha and what has been reached on the final document to the peace of Darfur, as well as the Mediation plans and its efforts to assist the parties to create favorable conditions for a political agreement and overcome the contentious issues of the negotiations in order to reach its desired goal.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials at the Foreign Ministry.
