Nearly 200 Pakistani cricket fans enter India
Attari (Amritsar), Mar 29 (PTI) Nearly 200 Pakistani
cricket fans Tuesday crossed over to India through the land
transit route of Attari border.
Former Pakistan External Affair Minister Khurshid
Mahmud Kasuri, on his arrival to India, said that cricket
could not resolve key problems between the two neighboring
nations but it could certainly create congenial atmosphere for
holding dialogue.
He said the World Cup semifinal would bring the two
nations closer which would also improve 'People to People
Contact’. He said that people of both the nations were keen to
watch the match.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ejaz Butt, on his
arrival to Attari border, said the entire Pakistan is focused
on the performance of their players.
