UN reiterates keenness on security, stability of Yemen

SANA'A, April 09 (Saba)- The United Nations secretary general's envoy Gamal bin Omar reiterated on Saturday the UN's
keenness on security and stability of Yemen.
He noted the importance of considering all opportunities that will maintain interests of Yemeni people in the framework of constitutional legitimacy.
This came during a meeting gathered Speaker of the Shura Council Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani and the UN envoy , who is currently visiting Yemen to hold meetings with officials
and political parties in the country.
Abdul-Ghani valued the UN's interest and care for the latest developments in Yemen, noting that the initiatives presented by President Ali Abdullah Saleh come within his
keenness on the normalization of political life in the country.
He added that President Saleh made and still make efforts for the return of all political parties to the negotiating table to discuss issues on the basis of commitment to
the constitutional legitimacy.
