Assistant Foreign Minister Meets Uruguay Official

Doha, April 12 (QNA) - HE the Assistant Foreign Minister Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainain conferred here today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay Luis Almagro and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Qatar.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them as well as issues of mutual interest.
A memorandum of understanding on bilateral consultations between Qatar's Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oriental Republic of Uruguay was also signed.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials of the Foreign Ministry.
