Khafaji calls on American people to pressure its government to withdraw from Iraq
Baghdad (NINA) – Head of the Political Commission of the Sadr Trend, Karar Al Khafaji, called on the American people to pressure its government to withdraw its troops from Iraq, Khafaji stated Saturday.
“We assert that Iraq and the whole region will be better after the US troops’ withdrawal and by the end of its intervention in our countries’ affairs,” he was quoted by a statement issued by the political commission.
Khafaji called on the world countries, which have interests in the Middle East, to “review your policies in the region and adopt the principles of respecting the willingness of the people.”
He expressed confidence in Iraqis’ capabilities to rise and develop without the need of foreigners on its land.
