Throws his (lucky) nephew in the river to end his jinx
Diwaniya (NINA) – A person was arrested in Diwaniya for throwing his nephew in the river, police source in Qadisiya Province told NINA.
The source added that a man put his 5 years old nephew in a bag and threw him in the river to end his (the man’s) bad luck caused by the child and prevented him from getting married, as a foreteller witch told him to do.
The child was lucky because some Facilities Protection System personnel saw him sinking and saved him at the last moment and arrested the man who was still in the incident site, the man suffers from psychological disturbances, the source concluded.
