Nuseif demands officials not to receive American counterparts in visits not applying protocols
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from White Iraqiya Slate, Aliya Nuseif, called on the Iraqi officials not to receive their American counterparts whose visits do not follow protocols and harm Iraq’s sovereignty, Nuseif told NINA.
“The American officials do not care for Iraq’s sovereignty and do not respect the Iraqi state, and that was clear during their visits; they land in their military bases ignoring the world standard protocols,” she added.
Nuseif went on saying that the Iraqi officials “should have some self-respect and not receive those Americans who give the impression that Iraq is an American village. They should know that Iraq is a sovereign country, such undiplomatic and uncivilized visits insult Iraq.”
Recently, high rank American officials visited Iraq and met with a number of Iraqi officials.
