Saudi King Receives Verbal Message from HH the Emir of Qatar

Riyadh, April 17 (QNA) - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia received a verbal message from HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, on bilateral ties and the current situation in the region.
The message was conveyed by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani during a meeting with the Saudi King at Al Riyadh Palace here this evening.
At the beginning of the meeting HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
For his part, the Saudi King asked HE the Premier and Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent.
On the Saudi side, The meeting was attended by Minister of State, Cabinet Member and Chief of the National Guard Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdualziz al Saud.
HE the Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani arrived in Riyadh earlier in the day to take part in the 33rd GCC Foreign Ministers Extraordinary Meeting.
He was greeted on arrival at the Riyadh airbase airport by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal, HE GCC Secretary General Abdulatif Rashid Al Zaiyani, and HE Qatar's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud. (QNA)
