President of Libya's Transitional National Council Arrives in Doha

Doha, April 17 (QNA) - President of Libya's Transitional National Council Mustafa Abdul Jalil arrived in Doha this evening on a visit to Qatar.
He was greeted upon his arrival at Doha International Airport by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud.
In a press statement upon his arrival, Abdul Jalil praised Qatar's political and humanitarian stance in support of the Libyan people.
He said : I m here to thank the Qatari government and people for the humanitarian and brotherly position ,which had a strong echo in the hearts of all Libyans. " "I was keen that my first visit abroad be to Qatar .. and I'm happy and grateful for this brotherly visit to express thanks and gratitude Qatar and its people and all officials in the State of Qatar. ", he added
He also said that he would discuss several points during the visit with the Qatari officials .(QNA)
