Nakilat Receves Certifications



Doha, April 17 (QNA) - Qatar Gas Transport Company Nakilat announced Sunday it had been certified under ISO 9001:2008 and under the OHSAS 18001:2007 standards by Lloyd s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) -- one of the world s leading accreditation authorities and recognized for their high standards of technical competence.
These certifications attest to Nakilat s high international standards of service, organizational effectiveness and commitment to a safe and healthy workplace and environment. The certificates of achievement were awarded to Nakilat s Chairman, Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi, by LRQA s Basem Obaid, Area Manager MEA, during the company s 6th Annual General Meeting held at the Four Season Hotel in Doha, said a press release by Nakilat.
Al Mohannadi expressed his pleasure on this occasion and said, " I'm proud of this important achievement made by Nakilat during this short period, which is in line with the clear vision of his Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, The Emir of the state of Qatar, of applying the highest standards of safety, health, environment and quality."
