Qatari Red Crescent Plans to Implement Projects in Afghanistan

Doha, April 17 (QNA) - Qatari Red Crescent (QRC) plans to implement a number of charitable projects in Afghanistan in the areas of health, water
and sanitation in collaboration with Afghanistan's Fund of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).
The two sides signed an agreement to this effect in Doha on the sidelines of the first meeting of the funds of the Islamic Conference Organization, which was held here today.
Khalid bin Ghanim al-Ali Al Ma'adeed , Secretary-General of the Qatari Red Crescent said after the signing of the agreement with Ambassador Atta Al-Mannan Bakhit Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Conference that "This agreement is aims to meet the existing needs in Muslim countries, including Afghanistan".
