THREE KILLED IN BUS-TRAILER COLLISION IN TUBAN
Bojonegoro, East Java, Sept. 1 (ANTARA) - Three people were killed and 12 others injured when a bus and a trailer collided in Sororojo village, Jenu sub district, Tuban district, East Java, on Monday.
The accident happened because the bus driver was sleepy, according to Bojonegoro Police Chief Commissioner Noer Ali.
Meanwhile, Zaenal Abidin (22), the trailer's driver, said before the accident occurred, he saw the bus "Langsung Indah" moving shakily from east to west.
The two vehicles later collided and plunged into a rice field, he said.
Three passengers of the ill-fated bus were killed on the spot. The injured passengers were rushed to DR Koesma Hospital in Tuban.
