Yemenia airways to supply its fleet with Airbus A320

SANA'A (Saba) - Chairman of the board of directors of Yemenia Airways Abdul Khaliq al-Qadi confirmed
on Saturday that the company will supply its fleet next week with a new type of jet, Aribus A320.
Speaking to Saba, al-Qadi said the plane came in the framework of a deal to buy ten aircrafts of the same type that Yemenia Airways had signed a contract with the European
aerospace industry (Airbus) in the Bahraini capital of Manama in January last year at a cost of $750 million The company will supply its fleet with another Airbus A320 next
month of the ten deal aircrafts, al-Qadi said, adding two aircrafts in 2012, four aircrafts in 2013 and two aircrafts in 2014, indicating that the first and the second aircrafts
of this deal were self-financed by the Yemenia Airways
