Qatari Ambassador Presents Diplomatic Credentials in Tallinn
Tallinn, Estonia, April 27 (QNA) -HE Hadi Nasser Mansour Al Hajeri has presented his diplomatic credentials as non-resident plenipotentiary ambassador of Qatar to Estonia during a meeting with Estonia's President Thomas Hendrik Ilves.
At the outset of the meeting the ambassador conveyed his greetings to the Estonian President and his best wishes of welfare and progress to the Estonian people.
For his part, the Estonian president asked the ambassador to convey his best wishes and appreciation to HH the Emir.
The Estonian president also expressed his appreciation of the growing leading role of Qatar in the area and on the international arena for maintaining world peace and his country's desire to step up relations between the two countries.
Earlier, the ambassador conferred with Sliv Kaniki, the state secretary for political affairs at the foreign ministry who said his country was interested in enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the political domain.
Estonia is one of a Baltic troika economies that are growing fast in north east Europe and has had diplomatic relations with Qatar for the past 15 years.
