Presidents of Qatar, Palestine Football Associations Meet
Doha, May 01 (QNA) - HE President of Qatar Football Association Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani conferred today with his Palestinian counterpart Jibril Rajoub and Ambassador of Palestine in Doha Munir Abdullah.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two associations as well as discussed the issues pertaining to football affairs in the two countries, in addition to ways of activating aspects of cooperation.
Rajoub extended his congratulations to HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani on Qatar's winning bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, asserting that Qatar is capable of organizing the event. (QNA)
