Abdul Mehdi, Turkish Foreign Minister discuss developments in Arab countries
Baghdad (NINA) – Vice President, Adel Abdul Mehdi, discussed with Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, bilateral relations and circumstances in the region especially the developments in Syria, Bahrain, Yemen, and Libya.
A presidential statement mentioned that during the meeting held on Tuesday in Ankara “ideas and viewpoints were exchanged about proper means to enhance security and stability in the region in a way that achieves the peoples’ ambitions in freedom and democracy and supports political, security, and economic stability in these countries.”
Abdul Mehdi arrived in Ankara on an official visit aiming at discussing bilateral relations and developments in the region with senior Turkish officials.
