HE Minister of State Meets Burkina Faso's Foreign Minister
Doha, May 05 (QNA) - HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met here Thursday morning with HE Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso and AU-UN Joint Chief Mediator for Darfur Djibrill Bassole.
At the beginning of the meeting, HE the Minister of State congratulated Bassole on his appointment as Minister for Foreign Affairs of his country.
For his part, Bassole underlined his commitment to continue as a Mediator in the Doha Peace Process to resolve the conflict in Darfur until the peace process comes to its desired end.
The meeting also addressed efforts to complete the peace process and the ongoing preparations for the convening of the broad All Darfur Stakeholders Conference scheduled to take place in Doha from 18-23 May 2011. (QNA)
