First meeting of majilis was held after vacation

Astana, September 2008, (Khabar) - From now on every deputy will have a laptop computer and work with electronic, not paper documents.

The deputies
say this will allow them to economize time and improve quality of work. On
the eve the head of the state defined some priorities that must be settled
together with government during short period of time. Tax and budget codes
were adopted and conclusions on these important financial drafts have been
passed to committees and will be ready by October 8. Also the majilis
deputies have approved the bill on ratification of Agreement about form of
exchange of notes between Kazakhstani government and NATO about staying and
working of NATO officers in Kazakhstan. The goal of this Agreement is to
create judicial basis for military mediators of Alliance in our country.
Ratification of the document will allow to develop mutually advantageous
cooperation with NATO.
