S. Korea Accused of Spoiling Atmosphere of Dialogue
Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- South Korea allowed Michigan, a U.S. nuclear submarine belonging to the 7th Fleet, to enter Pusan Port on April 30.
Meanwhile, South Korea recently staged naval firing exercises on Paekryong and Yonphyong islands, which were observed by officers of the U.S. Marines.
Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:
The above-said moves brought to light south Korea's intention to stem the trend of the situation towards dialogue and escalate the tension.
Michigan is well known as the most dangerous means for a preemptive attack as it is equipped with more than 100 Tomahawk cruise missiles, each with the range of 1 600km.
Shortly ago, the U.S. Marines staged a deployment drill under the simulated conditions of "contingency" in the Korean Peninsula in the area of Ryonchon, Kyonggi Province of south Korea.
Dialogue and war can never go together. The south Korean authorities are talking a lot about "dialogue" but they are, in actuality, laying a stumbling block in its way. -0-
