HH the Heir Apparent Receives Message of Thanks from IOC President

Doha, May 09 (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who is also Chairman of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has received a message from the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Dr. Jacques Rogge in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation of the generous hospitality given to the delegation of International Olympic Committee, which participated in the Ninth World Conference on Sports and Environment, which was hosted by the State of Qatar from April 30 to May 2.
Dr. Rogge also extended his greetings and appreciation to all members of the working team, praising their excellent efforts during the conference.
Dr. Rogge participated in the activities of the Ninth World Conference on Sports and Environment which was held under the patronage of HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and hosted by the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) represented by of the Committee on Sport and Environment, headed by the Hungarian President Pal Schmidt.
