Nearly 100 children with harelip and cleft palate in central provinces
Thua Thien – Hue (VNA) – Nearly 100 children with harelip and cleft palate in central provinces are being provided with free check-ups and operations at the Hue Odonto Maxillofacial Hospital from May 9-13.
According to the hospital’s Director Le Quy Thao, the programme would offer free surgery for harelipped patients who are six months old upwards and weigh at least 8 kilogrammes, and for children with cleft palate at the ages of 18 months old upwards and at least 12 kilogrammes in weight
The programme is jointly held by the Hue Odonto Maxillofacial Hospital , Operation Smiles Vietnam and Asia-Pacific Securities Joint Stock Co..
