Iran draws Group D of World Football 7-a-side Championships
TEHRAN, May 16 (MNA) -- Iran has been drawn into Group D in the CPISRA Football 7-a-side World Championships 2011 in The Netherlands.
The matches of the CPISRA Football 7-a-side World Championships will be played in the cities of Assen, Emmen and Hoogeveen. The opening match of the two-week tournament will kick off at 19:30 in the 8000-seat stadium of FC Emmen on Friday 17 June.
The final match are scheduled for 1 July in the FC Emmen stadium. The seven best teams of this event will qualify for the London 2012 Paralympics.
Groups:
Group A: The Netherlands, Brazil, Australia and Spain
Group B: Ukraine, Scotland and Canada
Group C: Russia, England, Argentina and Korea Republic
Group D: Iran, Republic of Ireland, the U.S. and Japan
