Lawyers Registration Committee Meets

Doha, May 16 (QNA) - The Lawyers Registration Committee met here on Monday morning under the chairmanship of HE Minister of Justice Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanem, who is also the committee's chairman.
During the meeting, the committee approved some applications submitted by some lawyers for registration in the professional lawyers register and also approved applications for registration of a number of lawyers accepted before the Court of First Instance for registration in the lawyers register accepted before the Court of Appeal.
The Committee also looked at applications by some non-Qatari lawyers working in Qatari advocacy offices in accordance with Article No. 9 of Advocacy Law.
Lawyer Ahmed Ali al-Nema and Lawyer Abdullah Mohammed al-Mutawa were sworn in before the committee after being registered in the professional lawyers' register. (QNA)
