Tehran dismisses report of Iran-N.Korea missile technology trade
TEHRAN, May 17 (MNA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry has dismissed the news reports claiming that Iran and North Korea have been exchanging ballistic missile technology in violation of United Nations sanctions.
Iran’s missile defense capabilities are so advanced that the country does not need any help from other countries, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast stated during his weekly press briefing on Tuesday.
Reuters reported on Saturday that it has obtained a confidential UN report saying that North Korea and Iran appear to have been regularly exchanging ballistic missile technology in violation of UN sanctions.
