Djibouti Premier Hails Qatar's Efforts for Stability in the Horn of Africa
Doha (QNA) - Djibouti Prime Minister Dileita Mohamed Dileita has praised Qatar's keenness to establish security and stability in the Horn of Africa region, and lauded HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani's efforts in solving regional conflicts, mainly the dispute between Eritrea and Djibouti.
Djibouti appreciates the Qatari efforts in bridging the gap between Djibouti and Eritrea, Dileita said in an interview with Qatari daily (Al-Sharq).
He noted that the Djibouti people would appreciate the presence of Qatari forces in the disputed area between Djibouti and Eritrea.
Dileita highlighted Qatar's role to establish peace in Darfur, saying that Doha platform to resolve Darfur crisis was the best initiative to bring peace to Sudan and was welcomed by the international community.
The Djibouti Prime Minister praised his country's relations with Qatar, noting that the cooperation between the two countries is developing in all fields.
