Cabinet Meets Under HE Al Attiyah



Doha , May 18 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Diwan Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, chaired the cabinet regular weekly meeting held at the Emiri Diwan premises here on Wednesday.
Following the meeting, HE Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Nasser bin Mohamed bin Abdulaziz Al Thani stated the following:
The Cabinet reviewed the topics tabled on its agenda and took the following relevant decisions:
First: Approving the following:
1- A draft law regulating the practise of the coastal marine activities.
2- A draft law enforcing the ships and floatings to install SOS , safety and marine emergency equipment.
Second: Approving the Foreign Ministry's proposal to form a committee to draft the preliminary report of the State of Qatar on measures it has adopted concerning rights and liberties stated in the Arab Charter for Human Rights .
Third; Approving the proposal of HE the Minister of Municipality on re-forming the National Committee for Biology Safety and assigning its functions.
Fourth: Reviewing the two following topics and took the relevant decision:
A- A draft law concerning the national system for surveying and monitoring the nuclear materials.
B-A letter of the financial data unit concerning its first annual report of 2010.
Fifth: Taking the necessary measures for endorsing the legal cooperation agreement between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Sixth: Approving the following:
A- A draft agreement on setting up a joint trade ministerial committee between the governments of Qatar and Mongolia.
B-A draft letter of intention between the Ministry of the Interior and the Internal Security Force (LEKHWIYA) in the State Of Qatar and the US State Department.
C- A draft letter of intention between the Qatari Ministry of the Interior and the US Department of Justice . (QNA)
