MNA, Philippines News Agency sign cooperation deal
TEHRAN, May 22 (MNA) -- Iran’s Mehr News Agency (MNA) signs a memorandum of agreement with the Philippines News Agency (PNA).
The agreement was signed by Virgilio DC. Galvez - the PNA supervising officer and deputy director of the Philippines Information Agency - and Hossein Divsalar, Iran’s cultural attaché in Manila.
The deal was inked at the PNA office in Quezon City on Tuesday in the presence of a number of other PNA editors and officials from the News and Information Bureau.
The cooperation agreement includes exchange of news, workforce training as well as technical and research cooperation.
Divsalar and Galvez highlighted the necessity of exchange of information between the news agencies of various countries and called for the full implementation of the provisions of the agreement.
