Advisory Council Discusses Draft Law on Intellectual Property Rights
Doha, May 23 (QNA) - The Advisory Council on Monday held its regular weekly meeting and discussed issues including draft law on intellectual property rights.
Chaired by HE Speaker of the Council Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, the Council reviewed the draft law on measures to protect intellectual property rights, and then decided to refer it to its finance and economic affairs committee for further examination and reporting.
The Advisory Council also discussed a report by the public services and utilities committee on a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. (10) of 1987 on the state public and private properties, and decided to report its recommendations to the Council of Ministers.
