HE Advisory Council's Speaker Calls for Justice Globally
Doha , May 24 (QNA) - HE the advisory council Speaker Mohamad bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi said on Tuesday that the opening of the first Regional Conference on the International Criminal Court (ICC) in Doha represents an opportunity to get to know the works and specialties of the court by all concerned.
Al-Khulaifi also emphasized Qatar's interest in dealing with vital cases for making the world more peaceful.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA) after the opening session,HE Al-khulaifi praised the opening statement made by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. He pointed out that the Emir's statement clearly showed the State of Qatar's point of view regarding the prevailing of justice worldwide. HH the Emir also stressed on the equality of all before the law.
The Speaker of the Advisory Council emphasized the importance of a concerted international effort to eliminate violence and wars from the world, and creating a new one where future generations can enjoy a decent life.
