Qatar Observes GCC Flag Day
Doha, May 25 (QNA) - Qatar is observing today the 30th anniversary of Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) along with other GCC countries, the Ministry of Interior here said in a media statement.
The GCC flag and emblem along with Qatari flag were raised at all land-sea-air border ports of the country at 10am. Other GCC nations did likewise.
This official practise is followed according to the decision of GCC Ministerial Council taken at its 118th session held in March 2011 in Abu Dhabi and of the Supreme Council at its 31st session held in December 2010 also in Abu Dhabi. (QNA)
