Qatar Participates in Inauguration of Comoros' New President

Moroni, May 26 (QNA) - On behalf of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, HE Minister of State Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani participated in the inauguration ceremony of Comoros' new President Dr Eklik Zanin, held here Thursday morning at the parliament building.
HE Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani conveyed greetings and congratulations of HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Dr Eklik Zanin and their wishes to the Republic of the Comoros further progress and prosperity.
From his part, Comoros' new President asked HE the Minister of State to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent and his wishes to the people of Qatar further development and prosperity.
Representatives of many world countries and regional and international organizations were also participated in the ceremony
Dr. Zanin was elected last year in December 26 as a successor to outgoing President Ahmed Abdallah Sambi. (QNA)
