Iranian cultural figures visiting Lebanon

TEHRAN, May 29 (MNA) -- A group of Iranian cultural figures gathered at the tomb of Hezbollah commander Imad Mughniyeh in Beirut on Friday and paid tribute to the martyrs of the 33-day Lebanese resistance against the Israeli attacks.

Mughniyeh was martyred February 12, 2008 in a car bombing in the Syrian capital Damascus.

The delegation also visited head of Hezbollah Executive Council Seyyed Hashem Safieddin and expressed their willingness to establish an united association for artists in the world of Islam.

Singer Mohammad Golriz, poet Behruz Qezelbash, writers Samira Aslanpur and Reza Rasuli are some of the members of the delegation.
