HH the Emir Meets with Palestinian President

Doha , May 29 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani met on Sunday at the Emiri Diwan with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is currently visiting the State of Qatar to participate the Ministerial Committee on the Arab Peace Initiative.
During the meeting they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the latest developments in Palestine as well as latest developments of the peace process.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Emiri Diwan Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah attended the meeting.
HH the Emir held a luncheon banquet in honour of the Palestinian President and his accompanying delegation.(QNA)
Prime Minister Meets Sudanese Official

Doha, May 29 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani met here bforenoon on Sunday with the visiting Assistant to Sudan's President, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie.
Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral ties between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Sudan besides the latest developments in Darfur.
