HE Prime Minister: ''Endorsing Darfur Peace Document is a Substantial Step for Peace''
Doha (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani has affirmed that the endorsement by the expanded Darfur stakeholders' Conference of the Darfur Document is regarded a substantial and necessary step for the Darfurians to enhance and strengthen accomplishments involved in the document to be a strong basis for peace and open the door wide for other agreements that contribute to reinstating security and stability in the Darfur enclave.
Addressing the closing ceremony of the aforesaid conference held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel here Tuesday, HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani called upon all the Darfurian movements to join peace as per such a document to make such a step more effective and successful.
HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani to the participants for the success of their conference and their best wishes for safely return to their homeland and to working for reinstating and strengthening meanings of tolerance and dialogue among all the Darfurian components.

Elaborating HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister affirmed that the conference has shifted the stakeholders to the role of the effective partner in dealing with the causes of the people in Darfur.... We have reached a crucial stage in the peace process and we should no't waste time and increase the suffering of the people of Darfur... We have no other option but to closely quest for reinstating peace to offer whatever we can for starting the wheel of development and reconstruction and convince our other partners to contribute to such effort', said HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani.
