QOC Delegation Leaves for Eritrea Wednesday

Doha, May 31 (QNA) - A delegation from the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) headed by HE QOC Secretary General Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, will leave for the Eritrean, Capital Asmara, tomorrow,Wednesday to attend in the opening of Asmara Stadium.
Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has implemented the rehabilitation of Asmara Stadium in addition to the construction of the Qatari- Eritrean Friendship Hall attached to the stadium.
The delegation during the visit which will last for two days is accompanied by a number of QOC officials, Eritrea's Ambassador to Qatar, media persons, in addition to the Army team who will play a friendly match with one of the Eritrea's clubs on the occasion of the Stadium opening.
QOC delegation is also expected to meet Eritrea's President Isaias Afewerki.
