Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Meets Al Turabi
Doha, June 01 (QNA) - HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met this evening Dr Hassan Abdullah Al Turabi, head of the Sudanese Popular National Congress Party, who was in Doha to participate in the Expanded Conference for Darfur Stakeholders, which concluded here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they reviewed the outcomes of the conference.
Dr Al Turabi said he was happy with the success of the conference, and considered the Doha document issued following the conference as a sound basis to reach a comprehensive peace in Darfur.
The meeting was attended by a number of Foreign Ministry's officials.
