Qatar Participates in Int'l Organization of Press Communications and News Agencies' Meeting in Berlin
Berlin, June 06 (QNA) - Qatar participated in the International Organization of Press Communications and News Agencies' meeting, which kicked off this morning in the German capital, Berlin, with the participation of representatives of the international press and news agencies.
At the outset of the meeting, Qatar was welcomed as a member in the organization with the right to vote on the resolutions.
The participants discussed many technical topics such as specifications and standards of news broadcasting on the Web sites as well as the Organization's budget and the election of the Board of Director.
A delegation from Qatar News Agency (QNA), including Director of Shared Services Ajlan Khalfan Al Kuwari and the Director of the Technical Affairs Department Engineer Khalid Mohammed al Mutawaa, represented Qatar at the meeting.
