Abdul Mehdi, Barzani discuss political, security developments

Baghdad (NINA) – Vice-President, Adel Abdul Mehdi, discussed with Kurdish President, Masoud Barzani in Salahuddine resort the general status in Iraq and recent developments on the political and security fields.

A presidential statement said Abdul Mehdi participated, during his visit to Sulaymaniya, in the celebration held by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan for its 36th anniversary.

The statement added that Abdul Mehdi met with first deputy of the PUK leader, Kosart Rasoul, and discussed with him current developments in Kurdistan and Iraq.
