26 ratifications of Cabinet are against law: Iran's Larijani
TEHRAN, June 7 (MNA) – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani has said 26 ratifications made by the Cabinet are against the current laws.
Writing letters to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad about each of the 26 ratifications, Larijani said the ratifications should be amended.
Copies of the letters have also been sent to the Judiciary chief, the chairman of the Audit Court and the director of the Inspectorate General Office.
Some of the decisions include assigning a working group, which comprises the president’s special representatives, with making decisions on oil industry, constructing a tunnel to link the southern Iranian Qeshm Island to the mainland, importing 85 trucks without considering required technical standards, and establishing settlements along borders with Iraq.
