Karzai ends UAE visit
Abu Dhabi, Sep. 10, 2008 (WAM) - Afghan President, Hamid Karzai, left here in the early morning of Tuesday ending a one-day visit to the UAE, during which he met with President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and discussed with him ways to boost bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the situation in Afghanistan.
The Afghan President was seen-off on departure by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Also at the airport to see President Karzai off were Justice Minister, Dr. Hadif Jow'an Al-Dhahiri, who was the head of the honorary mission accompanying President Karzai and Afghan Ambassador, Abdul Fareed Zakaria.
