‘Saudi Arabia trying to prevent restoration of Iran-Egypt ties’
TEHRAN, June 14 (MNA) - The director of Iran’s Interest Section in Cairo, Mojtaba Amani, has said Saudi Arabia is seeking to hamper efforts to restore relations between Iran and Egypt.
“The U.S. and the Zionist regime were hindering development of relations between Iran and Egypt, but now according to Egyptian analysts Saudi Arabia is doing the job,” Amani stated.
Tehran and Cairo decided to reestablish diplomatic interactions after the ouster of Egyptian dictator Hussni Mubarak.
