Iran welcomes formation of new Lebanese government
TEHRAN, June 15 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has congratulated the Lebanese people on the formation of their new government under the leadership of Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
Salehi said this is a great step toward stability in the country. The foreign minister added Iran is ready to strengthen ties with Beirut and help implement the agreements signed between the two sides.
