Vietnam has been elected as a member of the inter-governmental committee of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions of the UNESCO

Paris (VNA) – Vietnam has been elected as a member of the inter-governmental committee of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions of the UNESCO.

Vietnam , together with China and Laos , will represent the Asia-Pacific in the committee.

The election took place at the third plenary session of the Convention member countries held in Paris on June 14-15.

At the session, Vietnam delivered a presentation on its experience in preserving and promoting culture diversity./.
