Iran Paralympic soccer team to play Ireland today
TEHRAN, June 19 (MNA) -- Iran Paralympic football team will play Republic of Ireland in the CPISRA 7-a-Side World Championships in the Netherlands on Sunday.
Iran is in Group D along with Republic of Ireland, the U.S. and Japan.
The Iranian outfit is scheduled to Play republic of Ireland in its opening match on Sunday in Achilles Stadion in Assen, Netherlands.
The top seven teams in the tournament will join the United Kingdom at the 2012 Paralympic games in London.
Paralympic football is played seven-a-side on a smaller field and with smaller goals than non-disabled soccer.
