Twenty Six Students Graduated from Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies

Doha, June 18 (QNA) - The Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies (QFIS) has recently celebrated the graduation of twenty six students in various disciplines of Islamic studies.
This was also the first batch of students of the QFIS who had completed Masters Degree in Islamic Studies.
The graduates includes 25 students, 13 of whom received their Master s degree in Public Policy in Islam, and 8 students a Master s degree in Islamic Studies with specialisation in contemporary doctrine while 3 students received an MA degree in Islamic Financing, and one received a general Diploma in Islamic Studies
HE the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari, HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari were among prominent government officials and dignitaries who were also present on the occasion.
Welcoming the gathering, Dean of the QFIS Dr Hatem el Karanshawy said, "It is a great occasion. The efforts of imparting and acquiring knowledge are bearing fruits. As we witness the rapid growth of Qatar, we also make sure to proceed with the originality and authenticity." (QNA)
