UNESCO Holds Workshop on Training Teachers

Doha, June 19 (QNA) - A two-days semi-regional workshop on the preparation and training of teachers, organized by Doha UNESCO office, will begin tomorrow.
The workshop aims to review and discuss teachers training programmes in Gulf countries, as well as the required skills and the standards of qualified teachers and international trends vis-a-vis the preparation of teachers.
Officials, trainers and planners in teachers training institutions will participate in the workshop along with officials from ministries of education from the Gulf countries and Yemen. (QNA)
